Heritage Dinner – Thurs. April 26 – 5:30-8:30pm

Posted April 18th, 2012 in Uncategorized by admin

This is a joint celebration with Annette PS and High Park Alternative. Based on last year’s survey result, we have at least 42 countries other than Canada represented by our students and families, with at least 23 languages other than English being spoken at home. The Heritage dinner is a celebration of both school’s diversity.

It is a potluck dinner. Parents will bring a dish that would represent their

background, or a dish that they like the most. Diana Tso, the artist who made the dragons with the children is invited to attend the dinner.

At 6:00pm most parents are there and we begin with dinner.

After dinner at 7:00pm we have entertainment, one with the children of

Annette and HPA, and the other with the students of Western tech.

It is a night to appreciate our parents and students and have fun, It is the only night which is not about fund raising.  It is wonderful to celebrate our heritage together. Watch for a flyer being sent home with more details.
