School Hours:
JK/SK Morning 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM
JK/SK Afternoon 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM
Grades 1 through 6 – 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Morning Recess – 10:20 AM to 10:35 AM
Lunch – 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM
Afternoon Recess – 2:05 PM to 2:20 PM
Absence: Sick children must be kept home from school. Report an absence by calling the school before 9:00 AM each day of their illness. Please notify the school immediately if the illness is a contagious disease or condition, such as chicken pox, pink eye, or lice.
If you are going on vacation or for any other reason your child(ren) will be absent from school, please notify their teacher.
Safe Arrival: If your child has not arrived at school by 9:20 AM, the Administrative Assistant will call your home to check on their absence.
Drop-Off / Parking: The north side of Jennings Ave. is a drop-off zone. You can park there for up to 10 minutes while dropping off or picking up children. Please do NOT leave your car idling during this time.
Please do NOT stop on the south side of Jennings Ave. as it causes gridlock (and can get you a ticket). Please also do NOT do three-point turns in the middle of Jennings Ave. Instead, to get turned around drive to the end of Jennings Ave. and drive around the large tree in the Annette Community Centre parking lot.
Please do NOT stop on the west side of Clendenan Ave. as it is a School Bus zone (and can get you a ticket).
